Be attention to this difference

All of us all the time use

these two expressions " Thank You " and " Thanks"

,but did you ask your self the difference between them before??

Thank You and Thanks are very nice

and comforting words , they explain

how grateful you are and show

the side of your deserved respect

They have the same meaning,

but when we should use each one of them??

everyone of them has its own situation to use

Thank You : it should be used with

someone whom you don` t know very well

Thanks : it should be used with

relatives and friends only, you can`t

use it with a stranger

formal

( thanks) :

informal

My knowledge about the difference between thanks and thank you I cannot explain It but i will give two examples to illustrate the difference

omar: would you like to drink a cup of tea ?

ali : yes plz thank you

omar: would you like to drink a cup of tea

ali : no thanks

both of them true

do you want to say that when you agree with someone

you say thank you

& when you are not you say thanks

i think it`s not a difference

because you can say thanks when you are agree and

can say thank you when you are not

it is not a rule
